Why JoinTrip

Thousands of vans sit idle on weekends, while people who want to travel pay for a whole vehicle or squeeze onto a crowded bus. JoinTrip connects them: drivers fill their empty seats, and travellers pay only for the seat they use.

How we keep trips safe

  • Verified drivers: every driver's licence (front and back) is checked before they can publish a trip.
  • Real reviews: only travellers whose ticket was scanned at pick-up can review, so every rating is from a real seat.
  • Fair money: travellers pay the driver at pick-up, just before their ticket is scanned, and can cancel until booking closes. If a trip does not reach its minimum, it is cancelled and nobody loses money.
  • Women-only trips for travellers who prefer them.

For vehicle owners

Register your van, car or mini bus, publish trips with your own route, dates and price per seat, and get paid by your travellers at pick-up. JoinTrip charges owners no fee right now (0%). A fee change applies only to bookings made after it. Drive and earn.

How JoinTrip works

  2. Pay your driver at pick-up, just before your ticket is scanned. Don't pay in advance.
  3. Cancel free until booking closes. If the trip doesn't run, nothing is lost.
